  • Association québécoise pour le droit de mourir dans la dignité (AQDMD)
    Founded in 2007, the Quebec Association for the Right to Die with Dignity (AQDMD) is a voluntary civic association that benefits from medical and legal expertise on the question of medical assistance in dying (MAD) and which counts in its ranks of those concerned. It speaks in the name of a reality that it masters, in addition to being an essential player in information and the advancement of laws on the question of MAID. It shares its expertise with decision-makers and with all of society's information relays.

  • Centre d'aide aux victimes d'actes criminels (CAVAC)
    Provides front-line services to any victim of a crime and their loved ones, as well as to witnesses of a crime. CAVAC assistance is available whether or not the perpetrator of the crime is identified, arrested, prosecuted or found guilty. The CAVACs work in collaboration with stakeholders from the legal sector, the health and social services network and community organizations.

    Centre d'assistance et d'accompagnement aux plaintes de l’Île de Montréal (CAAP)

    The Montreal Island Complaints Assistance and Support Center is a community organization mandated by the Ministry of Health and Social Services, after consultation with the Health and Social Services Agency, to assist and accompany, upon request, users residing on the territory of the Island of Montreal, who wish to lodge a complaint with an establishment of the health and social services network, a CPDP, a Health and social services and the Québec Ombudsman in matters of health and social services.

Its name and current mission come from the merger, in 1995, of the Human Rights Commission and the Youth Rights Protection Commission.  The Commission is an independent body from government and fulfills its mission for the sole benefit of the population and in the public interest.

    Is a non-profit organization whose mission is to guide and support its members who find themselves in a difficult situation, or who are vulnerable or deprived, when it comes to having their rights respected. Juristes à Domicile can also facilitate access to low-cost legal services, if necessary.
    The organization's services have the main advantage of being provided by lawyers from the team who will travel to the member who requests it.

  • Projet d’organisation populaire, d’information et de regroupement (P.O.P.I.R.)
    Dedicates  mainly to the right to housing and campaigns for the defense of tenants' rights in Saint-Henri, Little Burgundy, Côte-Saint-Paul and Ville-Émard. The POPIR intervenes in two main areas. First, we  offer information and assistance about rent increases, repossessions, bedbugs and more, from a popular education perspective. Basically, we try to ensure that tenants are supported in the daily struggle for the right to housing on the private market.

    (Formerly called La Régie du logement) This specialized administrative tribunal has exclusive jurisdiction in the field of rental housing to hear all applications relating to the lease of a dwelling. In order to promote greater harmony in relations between landlords and tenants, and to ensure compliance by each party with the obligations arising from the lease, the legislator has given the Tribunal a dual mandate: to provide citizens with adequate and effective remedies when one of the parties evades its obligations.
