    (Formerly called La Régie du logement) This specialized administrative tribunal has exclusive jurisdiction in the field of rental housing to hear all applications relating to the lease of a dwelling. In order to promote greater harmony in relations between landlords and tenants, and to ensure compliance by each party with the obligations arising from the lease, the legislator has given the Tribunal a dual mandate: to provide citizens with adequate and effective remedies when one of the parties evades its obligations.
