Balconnades
Balconnades are a concept adapted from Italian culture. We started during the pandemic to counter the isolation of seniors, identify possible situations of vulnerability, offer information on different resources, raise awareness of public health instructions and get a little bit moving... in an atmosphere of benevolence with musicians from our neighborhoods.

Foulards de mémoire
« Les Foulards de la Mémoire » is an assemblage of eclectic works beautifully knitted, crocheted and embroidered (by more than 125 knitters and embroiderers, citizen volunteers), commemorating the 251 seniors from the Sud-Ouest and Verdun boroughs who sadly succumbed to COVID in the CHSLDs in our neighbourhoods.

Influenceurs.euses aîné.es pour le design universel en logement
The project aims to promote universal design as an incurvable tool in all new housing projects. This project aims to enable seniors to become influencers of universal design issues so that they can promote and defend barrier-free design in all new construction. As our population ages, it is essential that we give ourselves the tools to stay healthy, self-sufficient and involved in our own homes and communities.

Healthy walk
This project, led by ROPASOM, aims to improve the health of seniors and people with reduced mobility, as well as regaining power and confidence to walk safely. The marches are held in the 4 neighborhoods of the Arrondissement du Sud-Ouest (Ville-Émard - Côte Saint-Paul, Saint-Henri, Little Burgundy and Pointe Saint-Charles). Come walk with us, in a friendly context! And have a coffee together afterwards, offered free of charge! Welcome everyone! We adapt to all types of mobility!

Projet Ensemble
Let's help our isolated seniors together. The goal of our project is to break the isolation of seniors in the Southwest and Verdun territory by creating support networks. The Ensemble Project is a collective co-construction resulting from a reflection of several partners concerned about the harmful impacts (bereavement, loss of links, networks, mobility, autonomy, distress) of confinement on isolated and vulnerable seniors.
