    Through the Connecting Families initiative, the Government of Canada is providing affordable Internet services to those who need it most. The Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, the Honorable François-Philippe Champagne, and the Minister of Seniors, the Honorable Deb Schulte, announced the second phase of the Connecting Families initiative, which will help connect hundreds of thousands of low-income seniors and families to affordable residential high-speed Internet service by 2022.
