  • Collectif Bienvenue
    Welcome Collective’s core program redistributes household items and furniture to recently arrived refugee claimant families. We collect items from donors across the Montreal metropolitan area, and deliver complete apartment kits to families’ homes, including basic kitchen supplies, baby supplies and children’s toys, mattresses, and kitchen appliances. Our support to refugee claimant families is always free of charge.

    Is an organization that works to improve the quality of life of caregivers and to promote their recognition in the community.     The mission of the Little Brothers is to counter the isolation of people of old age until the end of their life. In the Montreal region since 1962, the big family of Little Brothers has 487 Big Friends, seniors who, without this regional action, would be alone and isolated. Thanks to the commitment of 677 volunteers, they are welcomed, pampered and accompanied until the end of their lives.

    The Spiritual Accompaniment Service for the Sick or Elderly at Home (SASMAD) is a service offered to people residing on the territory of the Catholic diocese in Montreal including the Island of Montreal, Laval, Repentigny, Saint Sulpice and L'Assomption._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_These are individual home visits by a volunteer trained for this purpose, one hour per week or according to the needs of the beneficiary. Our service targets a clientele who needs us to go to them, due to aging, illness or isolation, perhaps temporarily or permanently.

    Online services are available. You can use them to send your documents, make a request, consult your payments and see your appointments related to the Social Assistance and Social Solidarity programs. To receive free dental care, you must have been a recipient of the Social Assistance Program or the Social Solidarity Program for at least 12 months, without interruption. To be eligible for the special benefit for the purchase of dental prostheses, you must have been a recipient of the Social Assistance Program or the Social Solidarity Program for at least 24 months, without interruption.
