  • Coalition pour la dignité des aînés (CDA)
    The Coalition pour la dignité des aînés is a group of national seniors' associations that are a privileged interlocutor with the government on issues that affect or address the concerns of Quebec seniors, particularly in terms of income and finance, health and housing. Founded in 2020, Coalition pour la dignité des aînés works to bring together the best solutions to put forward to age serenely and with dignity in Quebec.

  • Équipe VIES (vieillissements   exclusions sociales   solidarités)
    The Équipe VIES wants to highlight the commitment, contributions, initiatives and strategies of seniors in their daily lives and their civic life, as well as their needs and difficulties. The members of the team are committed to implementing research projects aimed at identifying ways and avenues of action to promote the real social inclusion of seniors and, consequently, an improvement in their living conditions.

  • Gouvernement du Canada – Document d’information : Bien vieillir chez soi
    L’initiative Bien vieillir chez soi is a new federal grants and contributions program. Funding is available through two streams to support projects that enable seniors to age in place: - Home Support Pilot Projects - Scaling up services for seniors.

  • Observatoire québécois des inégalités - Bien vieillir au Québec : Portrait des inégalités entre générations et entre personnes aînées
    People aged 65 and over make up a growing share of Quebec's population: from 20% today, it will rise to 27% in 2050. This group is diverse and confronts different and sometimes more difficult realities for women, visible minorities and Aboriginal women. Thus, aging would benefit from being understood according to the specific needs of seniors and the diversity of their backgrounds.
